Description 
The Person Level Integrated Data Asset (PLIDA) is a secure data asset combining information on health, education, government payments, income and taxation, employment, and population demographics to create a comprehensive picture of Australia over time.
PLIDA data is securely held by the ABS – access is only made available to approved researchers for approved purposes.
Scope
The PLIDA Modular Product (PMP) is a suite of detailed microdata products created from the PLIDA data asset. All access to the PLIDA data asset is via the PMP.
The PMP contains data from a range of different data custodians and covers several domains. Further detail about PMP datasets and modules can be found in the Data Dictionary.
Limitations 
The temporal coverage periods and update frequencies listed above are not applicable to every dataset in PLIDA. Refer to the Data Dictionary for a breakdown of this information by dataset.
Purpose 
Facilitate research into patterns and trends in the Australian population and provide new insights into the development and evaluation of government policies, programs, and services.
