The available data includes fields relating to patient demographics including residential location, causes, effects and nature of illness, type of care, diagnosis, procedures, source of funding (public vs private) and month and year of arrival and departure.
All Victorian public and private hospitals, including rehabilitation centres, extended care facilities and day procedure centres, report a minimum set of data for each admitted patient episode.
